We are very excited to welcome you at the 31st ECNP Congress!

With less than five months to go, the preparations are in full swing to organise a great congress for you.

This year, we received over 1200 abstracts which are currently going through the review process for publication and presentation at the congress.
Most of the sessions of the scientific programme have already been published, covering a wide range of topics.

What’s new this year?
This year, we have alternative sessions with new formats where a hot topic or important new area is shared in an interactive way. 

All the sessions are listed along with an outline in our scientific programme.

Propose a topic for New Medications session

The New Medications session is a new symposium format featuring, clinical trials of new compounds, including proof of concept and post-marketing studies.

We accept submissions from researchers from both academia and the industry.

Are you interested in presenting your new medication during this session? Please send us by e-mail, before 15 May, the following details:
• A suggested speaker (name, institute, e-mail)
• A presentation title (max. 25 words)
• A summary explaining the content of the presentation (max. 250 words)
• A short motivation: why is it important that these findings are shared?

Official housing agency

The participants of the 31st ECNP Congress should be aware that there are several commercial hotel booking companies, entirely unconnected to ECNP, offering hotel rooms for the ECNP Congress. 

While this kind of activity is not illegal, we cannot vouch for their reliability or cost effectiveness. 

Please note that CPO HANSER SERVICES GmbH is the official hotel bookings provider for the ECNP Congress and is the only company offering accommodation on behalf of ECNP. Please book via the hotel booking page on the ECNP website.

ECNP School: A grand success

Once again this year, the ECNP School of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychopharmacology took place in Venice, Italy, on 8-13 April 2018. 

ECNP provided a unique opportunity to 47 participants to interact with an international faculty of experts in basic and clinical paediatric neuropsychopharmacology, over a span of one week.

Feedback from the participants included: “The program was comprehensive, very interesting topics, and the lectures were inspirational.” “A great opportunity to meet child and adolescent psychiatrists from across Europe.” “Very useful for my daily practice.”

ECNP Seminar in Odessa, Ukraine

We had another successful ECNP Seminar in Neuropsychopharmacology on 20-22 April 2018 in Odessa, Ukraine. Every year, ECNP organises a number of seminars to provide an interactive training course for future national leaders in neuropsychopharmacology.

The ECNP Seminar is intended for European countries whose researchers and practitioners have limited opportunities to attend international meetings. 

The seminar was a huge success with local and international experts coming together with 44 local early career scientists to create an enriching learning environment. The feedback from the participants was excellent who saw it as a platform to 'exchange ideas, share experiences and establish connections.'

We would like to congratulate Anton Gorodokin for winning the Seminar Award.
